At StandUP4SEALs we love those that StandUP and get in the fight! Malala Yousafzai is our kind of girl, about as strong as new rope. Malala is a 15-year-old outspoken critic of the Taliban’s tactics in her native Swat Valley in Pakistan. She was shot in the head when a gunman boarded her school bus last year. But she survived, made a full recovery, and has become a transformative figure for human rights and access to education. President Obama just recently met with this young lady as well.

Mullah Fazlullah was the one who ordered the assassination of this little child and has just become head of the Taliban.  The sad thing is Taliban means student in arabic and the ones that want to learn are not given a chance. Imagine that, not even given a chance to learn. In the book Fearless it notes the acts of Adam Brown when he would swap out supplies to pack his bags with shoes for the children. The war is real folks, the oppression is real.

StandUP4SEALs is committed to honoring the fallen Special Ops warriors by raising awareness and money for the families they have left behind. StandUP4SEALs is an official partner of One Team One Fight, a partnership between the Navy SEAL Foundation and the 31Heroes Project. This Memorial Day Weekend event will serve to honor and support the families those who have fallen and those who still fight on.
