Race Bag Pick Up

Friday, May 28 • 2pm-10pm • Ocean City Music Pier

Saturday, May 29 • 7:30am-Race Start • Ocean City Music Pier

Race Schedule

7:35 am – Welcome & Introduction of M.C.
7:40 am – Color Guard & Bag Pipers
7:45 am – National Anthem
7:50 am – Pre-Race Meetings (Obstacle Course participants)
8:00 am – Obstacle Course Race events will begin, the timing company will manage the heats (3-5 minutes apart). Be there and Be Ready.

Obstacle Course Sand Run will head North on the beach. Elite Racers will be in the first Heats.The course is a 2 mile +/- long in the soft sand with obstacles and cross fit movements along the way.

Kids Fun Run

The kids run as one of the most exciting part of the day, the heats are age based and parents may escort their child. We ask that all parents have their kids ready to for the 9:15 Pre-Race Meeting. The heats move fast so please do not wonder off. The course is a 1/2 mile +/- long in the soft sand.
9:15 am – Kids Run Pre- Race Meeting
9:20 am – Set Kids Run Course
9:30 am – Kids run starts in age group heats

Memorial Paddle Out

ETA 9:45-10am
10:00am – Message from The 31Heroes Project representative about the work of the organization and who it benefits.

To close this unforgettable day, the winner of the SUP Ocean Challenge will have the privilege of leading a paddle out to a special “Laying of the wreath” to honor veterans and fallen heroes. Accompanied by the music of live bagpipers, the powerful ceremony is a solemn reminder of the sacrifice of our heroes and the legacies they have left to inspire us all.
10:30 am – Sponsor Recognition
10:45 am – Award Ceremony will be conducted by our MC and held outside the Music Pier. Awards for the top three finishers will be handed out.
