UDT-SEAL Association & Longport Public Safety is proud to host the 2013 U.S. Navy SEAL “CHALLENGE” and “FUN RUN” on Wednesday July 31st 2013 at 5pm. The event is for the benefit of the families of “Those Who Gave All” in the defense of our nation.
All ages can participate in the FUN RUN but you must be 14 and older for the “CHALLENGE”.
FUN RUN: Event begins at 5pm. Starting Point: 24th & Atlantic Ave. This is a 1 mile walk/run (all ages).
CHALLENGE: For Individuals or Teams of 4. Event begins at 6:30pm. Starting Point: 24th & the Beach.
The CHALLENGE begins with a half-mile swim followed by a 3 mile run, on the beach. Teams will hold a hollow PVC pipe during the run and go through an obstacle course; individuals run free.
CHALLENGE AWARDS: Medals will be presented to top 3 teams and individual finishers overall, and the top 3 finishers in each age/gender category as follows:
Boys – Girls: 14 – 19
Men – Women: 20 – 29; 30 – 39; 40 – 49; 50 – 59; 60 and above
SOCIAL: A SEAL Support Social will be held following the conclusion of the CHALLENGE (approximately 8:00pm)
