Are you ready for the StandUP4SEALs paddleboard race on Memorial Day Weekend Satuday May 25th?

If you want some help here is our recommended weekly training schedule:

  • All workouts need to be 1 hour, except for Saturday which is 1 hour for March, 2 hours for April and 3 hours for May. A good robust training schedule would be to paddle 3 days per week, swim or cross train 3 days per week and then take one day for rest. You may also want to allow for a 1-2 week taper where workouts stay intense but, the volume decreases.
  • On the paddle days do some speed work during the week with more sprints and longer rest. For example, Monday do 3 minute sprints and then 5 minutes easy, then Thursday do some pace work with 15 minutes hard and 3 minutes easy. Saturday is race day so always train on Saturdays at your race pace.
