Interesting opinion piece by Retired Admiral Mike Mullen. If you watch the SU4S video from last year’s event you will notice that the Captain shirts have a bright gold star to remind us of the price these families pay for our freedoms. In addition, Savannah Brown, daughter of fallen SEAL Adam Brown, sang the National Anthem for our event. Why is this important?
A six year old daughter of one of the SU4S core team members plays the National Anthem in the morning’s before she goes to school and she already is starting to understand what has been paid for it. Please join us this year on Saturday May 24th and attend the Patriot ceremony which helps us all remember the price and the debt we owe to the gold star families.
